essentials for a good life

The needs of communities are complex and countless. At Wild Rose Community Connections, we focus our programs on areas that we believe have great impact - food, mentorship and early starts for young families. Strengthening these important foundations creates confident strides to move forward with. Our door is always the right door. If we do not offer the service you need, we will find where you need to go and help you to get there.

WHAT WE DO

When we work together, we can help others stand on their own.

Community is more than a gathering of people, a neighbourhood or a geographical boundary - community happens when connections are forged and a sense of belonging is created. Circumstance can often divide those most in need of connection. For two decades now, Wild Rose Community Connections programs have been developed, refined and offered to Southern Albertans to help individuals, families and youth access the services they need to stand strong on their own. Our team of compassionate, knowledgeable and respectful staff and volunteers are devoted to growing a community where everyone is seen, valued and self-supporting.

be a part of something meaningful

We are always looking for kind, committed and caring people! Wild Rose Community Connections relies on support from our volunteer force and donors to deliver on our mission to enrich the lives of children, families and individuals in the Foothills region through support, programming and connections that enable, growth and rejuvenation.

 Treaty 7 Territory Land Acknowledgements

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Iyarhe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta District 6. Finally, we acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work and play on this land, and who honour and celebrate this territory.

This sacred gathering place provides us with an opportunity to engage in and demonstrate leadership on reconciliation. Thank you for your enthusiasm and commitment to join our team on the lands of Treaty 7 territory.
